We specialize in doing one of kind kitchens, with the aim of making a clear reflection of the imagination and character of the owner, rather than a kitchen that has been reproduced hundreds of time like the many cookie cutter houses found in countless subdivisions.

While we will install production grade cabinets and various kinds of fabricated countertops, we prefer to build custom cabinetry on site, to fit your specific space and to maximize utilization of the space in your kitchen and within the cabinets themselves.  We usually utilize the design of what is popularly called frameless cabinets so that you see the doors and drawer fronts as flush within the cabinet front, rather than doors and drawer fronts set on top of frame stiles.  We build all our cabinets with solid hardwood doors, drawer fronts and trim and the interior frame is made of solid hardwood plywood.

We usually finish these pieces by a hand rubbed oil finishing.  This is a time consuming process, but when the oil penetrates the wood it becomes permanently bonded to the wood providing protection and conditioning for the wood for life.  It brings out the true color and character of the wood and a soft patina luster that will be admired for generations.While we will install various fabricated countertops produced by other companies, we recommend that your one-of-a-kind cabinets be topped with a one of a kind concrete countertop.  There are endless possibilities in the look and function of concrete countertops. 

We specialize in doing cast in place concrete countertops, simply because like no other countertop it is one contiguous surface with no joints or seams.  Concrete countertops are so unique, that an owner can even cast very personal elements in the top such as a beloved heirloom piece of china or jewelry or metal inlay.  A concrete countertop can be as simple as just the warm natural look of a finely trowelled concrete, to an infinite number of colors, or fine ground and highly polished surface exposing simple granite aggregate, precious stones, metal filings or Mother of Pearl.  It is only limited by your imagination.

We install a wide host of flooring for the kitchen from tile or stone or solid factory prepared hardwood flooring, or antique recovered hardwood flooring that we install in random widths, with decorative inlays to perhaps cork or bamboo flooring.
